Little Bandits – a vegan yogurt brand created for children – has launched in a major U.K retailer.
The dairy-free products, which hit 157 Asda stores on July 20, come in three different flavors: strawberry, banana, and apple & pear.
Jessica Harris founded the company after discovering her son Jonah had food allergies and was disappointed by the lack of kids brands offering ‘healthy food that was free from’.
The products, which are free from all of the top 14 allergens including dairy and soy, have also been tested by kids and are approved ‘nutritionist approved’ and are made in a vegan-friendly and nut-free site.
‘The leading free from brand’
In a statement sent to Plant Based News, Harris said: “I realized there were thousands of parents facing the same challenge and became determined that Jonah shouldn’t miss out on fun, convenient treats [so] I founded Little Bandits.
“Our vision is to become the leading free from brand for kids and to make life a little easier for families whether they need alternatives, are vegan, or just want to reduce their dairy intake.”
